Sypgrej
About the project.
Sypgrej is a sub brand created for Den Sidste Flaske, a playful line of wine accessories rooted in Danish humor and language. The name Sypgrej translates to “drinking gear,” and that simple idea became the foundation for the visual direction.
The goal was to create something that feels unmistakably Danish, relaxed, and full of character, yet still designed with precision.

challenge.
The main challenge was to capture the humor and local spirit without losing quality or clarity. It needed to connect with both design conscious customers and casual wine drinkers in a way that felt authentic rather than gimmicky.
approach.
The identity draws inspiration from the tactile world of wine and craft. The logo carries small imperfections that make it feel alive, while the typography is clean and confident. The color palette combines deep reds and warm neutrals, evoking the tones of Danish summer evenings and the intimacy of a shared glass.
Outcome.
A confident, character driven identity that feels grounded and human. Sypgrej brings humor and heritage together in a way that feels natural, without ever compromising on design quality.
Final thoughts.
Sypgrej reminded me that a brand’s personality can be its greatest asset. When design captures that spirit honestly, it doesn’t just look good — it feels alive.
